A selection of 111 objects is presented, most of which were brought up from the Baron Gautsch protected wreck site. Apart from a few units that cover part of the history of the steamship company Austrian Lloyd, the basic and technical details about the ship, its crew and the passenger line, the exhibition mainly presents details about the tragedy of the steamship and the victims of the wreck, the events after the ship went down and finally a part about the finding of the wreck and the protection of the "Baron Gautsch" wreck site.
The exhibition was first of all put on in the exhibition premises of the home museum in Kaštel in August 2014, as part of the commemorations of the centenary of the outbreak of World War I, and the centenary of the sinking of the Austro-Hungarian passenger ship the "Baron Gautsch".
