The Jelka Miš collection of embroidery patterns – Dubrovnik region

The collection contains redesigned needlework patterns from the breast panels and sleeves of women's traditional attire from Konavle.

The patterns were made by Jelka Miš with her pupils from the Popular Embroidery Studio, which was at work in her house in Dubrovnik from 1929 to 1946 As well as Konavle needlework motifs, the collection also has redesigned patterns that are called Dubrovnik work.
