The exhibition presents fishing equipment and fishing techniques in Antiquity, gives a survey of marine mythology and marine and acquaints visitors with products and economic activities connected with the sea.
The material presented at the exhibition comes from the holdings of Zadar Archaeological Museum and in large part derives from the ancient port in Zaton, which was in operation between the 1st and 4th centuries. The exhibition comprises seven exhibition panels and 3 display cases with archaeological material on show, and is accompanied by a richly illustrated bilingual (Croatian and English) catalogue.
