The exhibition has been produced by Dubrovnik Museums, Archaeological Museum

The exhibition shows parts of early medieval architectural decorations and stone furnishing dating from the 9th to the 12th century, deriving from various sites in Dubrovnik city and surrounds. Most of the exhibits derive from churches in the city itself (St Stephen’s, St Peter’s, St Nicholas’ and others), and after that churches in the neighbourhood (St Mary’s, Rožat; St Sergius on Koločep; St Michael’s on Mrkan and others). The exhibition was shown first in the Rector’s Palace in 2003.
