Black Forest: an exhibition of photographs by Damir Hoyka
The exhibition has been produced jointly by Dubrovnik Museums, the Cultural History Museum and the Croatian Firefighting Association.
Black Forest, the exhibition of photographs by Damir Hoyka, has been inspired by the consequences of the huge forest fire of last year in the neighbourhood of Trstenik on Pelješac; the intention is to sensitise the public, via photographs that show the apocalyptic scenes after the fire, to the consequences of irresponsible behaviour by individuals.
Twenty photographs and an accompanying catalogue are being presented.
Black Forest is an exhibition of universal interest, its objective being to warn citizens of possible fire perils.
This touring exhibition can be seen in Dubrovnik thanks to collaboration between Dubrovnik Museums and the Croatian Firefighting Association.
