Cyprus Collection of the Archaeological Museum: guest exhibition in the Museum of Ancient Glass in Zadar
This exhibition presents decorative objects created on Cyprus during the period of time from the Bronze Age to Hellenism. In all, 108 objects from the Cyprus Collection are on show.
Involved is material from the Middle and Late Bronze Age of Cyprus Culture created in the period from 1900 to 1050 BC, while a smaller number of items came into being in the second half of the 1st millennium BC. As well as ceramic bowls, cult vessels and objects for everyday use, there are terracotta and stone heads, as well as whole figures, Kourotrophoi, created on Cyprus during the 5th century BC.
